Get real work out of AI. Learn it on your own screen.
I’m Brad. I run my one-person IT business with AI in it: it answers my phone when I can’t, answers questions on my homepage and reads my posts aloud in my voice. In an hour by video call, I show you how to use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot on the work you actually do, at $90 a lesson.

I'm a sole trader. A regular client is three weeks late paying a $640 invoice. Write a short, friendly reminder in Australian English, no threats, and give me two versions to pick from.

what you learn
your pick, in your orderEach lesson is built around what you want to get done, so nobody sits through the parts they already know. These are the six things people usually come for.
Start from nothing
Which AI to use, free or paid, and what it's good and bad at. We set up the account and the phone app together.
- ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot: picking one
- What it can't do, so it doesn't catch you out
- Talking to it instead of typing
Get answers worth using
Most bad answers come from short questions. You learn to give it what a new staff member would need to know, and to ask for options, not one try.
- Your situation, your audience and an example
- Getting it to ask you questions first
- Two versions, then fixing the better one
Your actual work
We work on a real job you bring: the email you've been putting off, the document too long to read, the spreadsheet that needs sorting.
- Emails, quotes, letters and replies to reviews
- Summaries of long PDFs, contracts and meeting notes
- Spreadsheet formulas explained, and tidy-ups
Stop starting from scratch
Projects, custom instructions and memory, so it already knows your business, your customers and how you write.
- A project for your business, with its documents in it
- Instructions so it writes the way you do
- A short list of prompts you reuse
Check it, and stay safe
It sounds sure even when it's wrong. You learn how to check it, what never to paste in, and which privacy settings to switch on.
- Spotting made-up facts and asking for sources
- Passwords, bank details and other people's information stay out
- Voice-clone and fake-video scams, and how to tell
Go further
Once the basics are habit: AI connected to your email and calendar, jobs that run on their own, and a model on your own computer.
- Connecting it to Gmail, Outlook, Drive or OneDrive
- An automation that does a weekly job without you
- A model on your own hardware, so nothing leaves

Send me a few lines
Which AI you have, if any, and one real job you'd like help with. A screenshot is plenty.
- 03
The hour
A video call where you share your screen. You do the typing, on your own account, so it all still works after we hang up.

questions
10 answeredDo I need to know anything first?
No. If you can send an email, you can start. The first lesson starts wherever you are, including never having opened one.
Which AI do you teach?
Whichever you have or want: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Microsoft Copilot. I use several every day and run my own models on hardware in my office. If you don't have one yet, picking it is part of the first lesson.
Do I need a paid subscription?
No. The free versions are enough to start. If a paid plan would pay for itself in what you do, I'll say so, and if it wouldn't, I'll say that too.
Is it online or in person?
By video call, with you sharing your screen, so you learn on your own computer or phone with your own accounts. In person in Adelaide by arrangement, with the travel quoted first.
What do I keep afterwards?
A written summary within a day of each lesson: what we covered, the prompts that worked word for word, and one thing to try before next time. It's yours to keep and reuse.
Is it safe to put my information into AI?
It depends on the tool and its settings. Every first lesson covers what never to paste in (passwords, bank details, other people's private information), the privacy settings worth switching on, and when a model on your own hardware is the better choice.
I'm neurodivergent. Will this work for me?
I'm AuDHD myself. Lessons are one person at a time, at your pace, with breaks when you want them, and everything is written down afterwards so nothing depends on remembering it. If it's easier to send your questions in writing first, do.
Can I book lessons for someone else?
Yes, for a parent, a partner or someone on your staff. Book the free call yourself or have them call, and I'll invoice whoever pays.
Can you set it up for me instead?
Yes. Wiring AI into your email, documents or help desk is part of my IT work, at the same $90 an hour: see tech2urdoor.com.au/it.
Do the prices include GST?
The price shown is the total you pay. Nothing is added on top, and your invoice spells out the GST position.
Rather have it done for you? IT help and automation, including AI wired into the tools you already use, at the same $90 an hour.
